Luka Bralic is a Milan wedding producer with a company on the brink. A lavish contract sends him back to Skalin, the walled Adriatic port he fled at nineteen and only returned to bury the dead.
For six days, the gates close, the beach is roped off, fishing boats sit idle, and everyone wears a green wristband that says the week belongs to someone whose name no one is allowed to say. Luka must make the impossible look effortless while three women draw him into private corners of his past.
